Cassandra Lit Magazine
Description: "Cassandra", the literary magazine for the Grant Campus, is published on an annual basis. "Cassandra's" goal is to publish those poems and short stories, along with art work and photographs, which deal with not only women's issues, but also humanistic issues. "Cassandra" is a forum for many different backgrounds, both female and male, full and part-time students, day and evening students. "Cassandra" also sponsors an annual poetry contest with cash prizes.

Description: The Compass is published monthly and serves as a vehicle of expression for the entire campus. All students are welcome to work on the newspaper and any member of the college community can submit articles for publication.

East End Elements
Description : East End Elements, the campus art & literary magazine for the Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College, publishes poetry, prose, artwork, and photos submitted by students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The editorial staff selects materials based on artistic merit, whether or not it coincides with the views of the staff or advisor, through a process of blind submissions. The magazine is published once each semester and is distributed across campus. Requests for our call for submissions should be sent to Orient 133 or [email protected] .

Description: The Lighthouse News is a publication produced by students on the Eastern campus of Suffolk County Community College. - Search Search for an online course by keyword, semester, campus, area, or a combination of each.
- Select Course Select a course from the results list that fits your needs.
- Visit College Website Click “register now” to visit the college website to register as a “non-credit” or “non-matriculated” student if you are not enrolled at the campus.
- Contact Registrar Contact the registrar’s office or enrollment office to register for the course. Make sure you have the course name and course ID when you register.
- Transfer Credits If you plan to transfer credit for the course, make sure you have reviewed the course with the advisor at your current college to ensure the credits will transfer to your degree program.
- Locate Course Materials Once you register for the course, visit the campus bookstore to find the books and materials for the course. You will need the course ID to find the books.
