Changing the PPT background music slide layout is a quick way to add new style. On the Design tab, click Format Background . A sidebar will open on the right. You’ll see options for solid colors, gradients, and more. 

To add a solid background, click on Solid Fill . On the color drop-down, pick a color and then adjust its transparency with the slider below. You’ll see it automatically apply to your slide.

4. Add an Image

Katastro Shares New Music Video for 'Our Favorite Song,' Featuring Vocals from Late Lead Singer Andy Chaves (Exclusive)

Chaves, lead singer of the Arizona-based alternative band, died in a car accident in May 2022 at age 32

Andy Chaves never liked to write nice songs about nice girls. But on a March day in 2022, the lead singer of the Arizona-based alternative band Katastro seemed as if he wanted to do something completely different.

"A lot of our songs are about Andy's breakups and rough situations with women in his life, but he was just in a good mood that day," Katastro drummer Andrew Stravers, 34, remembers during a recent interview with PEOPLE from the Arizona studio where the band gathered that fateful day two years ago. "He was like, 'You know what? I want to write something sweet and a little more genuine about a girl.’ I was like, 'That's nice. You should do that.'"

And so, he did. But never could anyone imagine that Chaves wouldn't be here in this moment, singing the song that took him so long to write.

Three months later, in May 2022, Chaves was killed in a car accident. He was just 32 years old.

"The night of Andy's funeral, we all went back to his family's house," Stravers says quietly. "There were probably 40 family members at his parents' house, and they asked, ‘Do you guys have any demos?’ And I showed them this song."

At the time, the song that held Chaves’ precious vocals was only known by the title "Dancing."

"I played it for them and the whole family went from crying and being sad to standing up and dancing," Stravers remembers. "At that point, it was like a minute and a half demo. I think we played it a total of 15 times. And so, from that moment on, it was a big thing that we wanted to finish it for not only the album, but for his family too."

Of course, the act of finishing the song came with an enormous amount of pain, as it meant that the remaining members of Katastro — Stravers, bassist Ryan Weddle and guitarist Tanner Riccio - needed to dig back into the song that their friend never finished.

"Finding demos on our hard drives after the fact showcased, in my opinion, how talented Andy was and just how gifted he was," says Stravers. "We actually turned ['Dancing'] into a Katastro song where Tanner took out his guitar and did his thing, and Ryan did his thing with the bass, and it transformed into one of our favorite songs on the album."

And that's why they called the new single — the music video for which PEOPLE is exclusively premiering — “Our Favorite Song."

"We kind of just handed the reins to [video director Dylan Toon] and he told us what he thought," Riccio, 35, tells PEOPLE of the surprisingly upbeat music video. "With [Toon] being the professional and knowing what to do, we just trusted that, and it came together really well, even better than we thought."

So too has their seventh full-length album, which will now forever serve as the home to "Our Favorite Song."

"The entire album was made from vocal takes that we had from [Chaves] from completely unfinished songs and super rough demos," Stravers says of the forthcoming album Until the End of Time , which is set for release on Oct. 4 and includes the talents of fellow artists such as Dirty Heads, Iration and Rome Ramirez. "Finishing the songs with his vocals was a huge part of us getting through the past couple years and getting over the situation of losing our best friend."

"We didn't even know if we could put an album together initially," Riccio adds. "It took us a while to have the confidence that we could put out a good record that sounds like it's not pieced together. I think we're still taking it in and still not realizing what we've done."

Because as much as the loyal fanbase of the Katastro needed this album to come to fruition, so did the members of the band.

"Over the past two years, [we all] needed to listen to his voice and work on these songs so that we could get through it," Stravers says. "And if it doesn't do anything and only 10 people stream it after the album comes out, it already served a massive purpose for helping us get through Andy's death. That's the way I feel about it."

Each member of Katastro also feels that this is the last album they will ever put out as a band.

"It's bittersweet knowing that we're not working on something together that includes him after this process," says Riccio. "But again, it's very healing to finish it and get it out there for everybody to enjoy."

And they believe Chaves would have enjoyed it too.

"He better know right now how hard this s--- was," says Riccio. "He better know."

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati City Council's budget and finance committee heard a presentation Monday from the organizers of a new festival planned for the banks of the Ohio River that will remind many of the former Tall Stacks festival.

America's River Roots will take place on the Ohio River from October 9 through 12 in 2025, officials announced in the spring.

The festival will be "centered on the Ohio River." The festival is intended to kick off the 250th birthday of the United States, which happens in 2026.

New details about the festival presented

The presentation to council committee members on Monday included a few new details, including how many music stages are planned and some plans for the boats involved in the festival.

The presentation also disclosed an estimated price tag for the event: $16,450,000. Organizers anticipate the bulk of that cost will be spent on entertainment and production, and logistics associated with the riverboats — like supplies, lodging and travel fees. The majority of the funding will come from sponsors and state, county and local governments, according to the presentation.

"The goal of America's River Roots is to invite all locally, regionally, nationally and actually internationally," Susan Fisher, executive director of the festival, said. "We span from the Bengals stadium [to] beyond Sawyer Point."

Missing were details on whether the federal government would provide any funding for the festival, which is intended to be a part of the nation's 250th birthday party.

The presentation breaks out three major themes of the festival: Cuisine, culture and music.

The cuisine section of the presentation highlights:

• Multicultural food and products
• Regional food truck and Restaurant Row
• Celebrity chef presentations
• Bourbon tasting sessions
• Craft beer tasting sessions
• Themed riverboat offerings

As for music, the presentation says the festival hopes to have:

• Nationally recognized and emerging artists on eight different stages along the Ohio River
• River Roots gospel revival
• Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame recognition
• Unplugged performances

The cultural events attendees can look forward to at the festival were listed as:

• Tall Stacks riverboat cruises
• River Cities Expo
• Sounds of the River education program
• Steamboat age and river industry exhibits
• Freedom Center speaker series
• Freedom Journey digital platform
• Riverwalk Heritage Tour
• Bourbon Trail
• UNESCO Earthworks

The presentation includes a map of the riverfront, highlighting where many of the festival's attractions will be located. "It is a five-day festival, and people will come and go as they please, but we will have activities morning, noon and night for all to enjoy," Fisher said. "There will be something for all people of all ages, generations."

The map breaks the whole festival down into eight different zones, each of which will have its own stage. The zones are spaced out along the Ohio River to stretch the festival from the Andrew J Brady Music Center to past the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge on the Cincinnati side.

In Northern Kentucky, the festival spans from a "yacht village" planned to the west of the Roebling Bridge near Covington to Newport on the Levee, where the bourbon-tasting events are slated to be held.

The aforementioned "yacht village" is also listed as a sponsorship opportunity; the presentation from organizers highlights "docking for yachts at Covington Landing during the four-day event with VIP river taxi service" as a possible funding source for the event. In addition, there will be opportunities for corporate or club reservations for riverboat cruises or tasting events.

Also highlighted on the map is a designated area for riverboats along Yeatman's Cove at the Serpentine Wall — and two river taxis that will ferry people back and forth between the Cincinnati side of the river and the Northern Kentucky side.

The presentation also includes a timeline that more specifically outlines the festival's path to fruition before its launch date in October 2025. For now, organizers are focusing on the finer details, but the presentation says they plan to announce headliner artists in the first quarter of 2025. From there, the full festival lineup should be announced in the second quarter of 2025.

"We are excited and proud to be one of the first in the country to kick off the nation's 250th [birthday]," Fisher said. "We are going to open up our incredible mile and a half Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky waterfront, and it's just going to be a don't-miss event."

Here's what we already knew was coming

The festival will have plenty of live music, with Bryce Dessner of rock band The National curating performers. The National, which is made up of Cincinnati natives, is set to perform.

The lineup also features Kathy Wade, an award-winning jazz singer, officials announced in the spring.

The Purple People Bridge will also be transformed into a food market for the festival.

Similar to the blast-from-the-past festival Tall Stacks Music, Arts, and Heritage Festival, America's River Roots will have 12 steamboats take part in the festival to celebrate Cincinnati, which at one point was the steamboat capital of the world.

Captain Alan Bernstein, who owns BB Riverboats, recruited the 12 boats taking part in next year's event. The dozen boats also include the only three operating commercial steamboats in the country.

"Recently, it's never been done, and they'll be racing on Sunday," Bernstein said. "It's the big featured event, the three steamboats, and it's going to be a very neat race."

Bernstein said each of the boats will be themed, incorporating music, food and culture into their river tours.

Overall, the event will have a similar feel to Tall Stacks. Tall Stacks was first held in 1988 to celebrate Cincinnati's bicentennial, where Greiwe served as executive director of the celebrations. That festival drew national attention, and more than 700,000 people crowded into the riverfront during the three-day event, which featured historic riverboats and a late-18th-century feel.

Held in October that year, the first Tall Stacks was so successful — with a Xavier University study at the time claiming it created an economic impact of $30 million — it was brought back, and subsequent festivals were held in 1992, 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2006.

Woman Accuses Sean Combs of Raping Her in Filmed Attack

In a new lawsuit, the woman said Mr. Combs and his bodyguard drugged and assaulted her in his recording studio in 2001.

A woman accused the hip-hop mogul Sean Combs of drugging and raping her at his recording studio in Manhattan in 2001 in a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, saying that she learned last year that the assault had been recorded and shown to others.

The lawsuit was filed about a week after Mr. Combs, 54, was arrested on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking , to which he has pleaded not guilty. Six other women have accused Mr. Combs of sexual assault in lawsuits in the past year, while three additional lawsuits have accused him of sexual misconduct.

The plaintiff in the suit filed on Tuesday, Thalia Graves, said in her complaint that she was 25 at the time of the assault and knew Mr. Combs through her boyfriend at the time, who was working for Bad Boy, Mr. Combs’s record label. The lawsuit said that in or around the summer of 2001, Mr. Combs called her and asked to meet in person. After arriving in an S.U.V. to pick her up, the lawsuit said, he offered her a glass of wine that made her feel “lightheaded, dizzy and physically weak.”

When they arrived at the recording studio, the suit said, Ms. Graves lost consciousness and later woke up to find herself naked and her hands tied behind her back with “what felt like a plastic grocery bag.” She said in the court filing that a bodyguard of Mr. Combs’s had lifted her up and slammed her down onto a table, after which she recalled Mr. Combs raping her.

“Plaintiff was unable to move, totally overpowered physically, in addition to being drugged and bound,” according to the lawsuit, which was filed in federal court in Manhattan.

Representatives for Mr. Combs did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Ms. Graves’s suit also names the bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, as a defendant, saying that he assaulted her and forced her to give him oral sex. Mr. Sherman said in an interview that he stopped working with Bad Boy in 1999 and had “nothing to do” with Mr. Combs by 2001.
