These 10 Indian Achievers Have Proved That You’re Never Too Young To Make It Big
Ten years ago, if you were to tell your parents that you wanted to branch out on your own or were considering sports as a career, they would have told you to wait and “give it some time.” Age was not just a number, and starting out early was not only met with resistance but also doubts about your capabilities.
The truth, though, is that you don’t need to cross an age threshold to prove that you have what it takes to be successful. All you require is steely determination and endless imagination to fuel your creativity. If you need further reassurance, just look at these 10 Indian achievers who prove that you can never be too young to make it big.

However, we had already received previews of her caliber when she made her mark by bagging the silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the bronze at the 2015 Asian Wrestling Championships.

13 Indian youth changemakers to know in 2021
“Dear future generations: Please accept our apologies. We were rolling drunk on petroleum,” widely acclaimed novelist Kurt Vonnegut once wrote, quite presciently. Our present generation realised early that the time to take the reins of our future is now. For far too long we’ve faced complacent replies from world leaders, non-communal policy changes and a myopic environmental vision that believes in guzzling as many fossil fuels as we can. For these young inventors and eco crusaders, substantive action on the ground matters. Most of them have pledged to dedicate their lives to causes they believe in, and in some cases, these causes are also inextricably linked to their survival.

A member of UWC Adriatic, Kothari started her project aimed for disabled communities after a road accident left her with physical, neurological and psychological trauma. Through ZIAI, an AI bot she created, Kothari aims to build a resource for the differently-abled community by helping users apply for accessible jobs, create inclusive institutions, learn about laws that protect disabled citizens , and work with able-bodied individuals to make them better allies. The AI is accompanied by an information page, where you can interactively work on making inclusive language a habit, read about supporting disabled loved ones, see data on ableism, and more.

In 2015 she founded Why Waste?, which so far has worked with over 5 lakh restaurants, 10 million people and prevented over 6 million litres of water from being wasted.
Neha Shivaji Naikwade, 27
One of India's few environment-oriented data scientists , Naikwade used her skill set to help launch over 140 green startups.
