Famous Poets in Hindi के इस ब्लॉग में हम सबसे पहले कबीर दास के बारे में जानेंगे। बता दें कि कबीर दास की गिनती उन कवियों में होती है जिन्होंने अपने दोहे, रचनाओं से सभी को मंत्रमुग्ध किया है। उनका जन्म 1398 ई  में वाराणसी गांव के उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था। उनके पिता का नाम नीरू झूले, माता का नाम नीमा था, उनकी पत्नी का नाम लोई था। उनके पुत्र का नाम कमल और पुत्री का नाम कमाली था और गुरु का नाम रामानंद जी था। वह बेहद ज्ञानी थे और स्कूली शिक्षा न प्राप्त करते हुए भी अवधि, ब्रज, और भोजपुरी और हिंदी जैसी भाषाओं पर इनकी बहुत अच्छी पकड़ थी। इन सब के साथ-साथ राजस्थानी, हरयाणवी, खड़ी बोली जैसी भाषाओं में महारथी थे। उनकी रचनाओं में सभी भाषाओं की के बारे में थोड़ी-थोड़ी जानकारी मिल जाती है इस लिये इनकी भाषा को ‘सधुक्कड़ी’ व ‘खिचड़ी’ कही जाती है। कबीर दास जी की मृत्यु 1518 मगहर गांव उत्तर प्रदेश में हुई थी।

रामधारी दिनकर का जन्म 23 सितंबर 1908 में सिमरिया गांव, बेगूसराय जिला बिहार में हुआ था। इनके पिता का नाम श्री रवि सिंह था और माता का नाम श्रीमती मंजू देवी था। इनके बड़े भाई का नाम बसंत सिंह था। इनका का उपनाम दिनकर था। भारतीय जन-मानस में जागरण की विचारधारा को प्रखर बनाने का पुनीत कार्य योजना रामधारी सिंह ”दिनकर” जी के द्वारा कि  गई थी। उनकी कविताओ में ओज, तेज और अग्नि जैसा तीव्र ताप, बिजली के लिए मशहूर है। उन्हें “राष्ट्रिय हिंदी – कविता का वैतालिक” भी कहा जाता है। उर्वशी” काव्य पर राष्ट्रीय ज्ञान पीठ का पुरस्कार  प्राप्त हुआ और साथ ही राष्ट्रपति द्वारा पदम भूषण से सम्मानित भी किया गया | उनकी भाषा की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह है –  अभिव्यक्ति की सटीकता और सुस्पष्टता, भाषा शुद्ध है। इनकी भाषा में संस्कृत के बहुत सारे शब्दों का भी अधिक मात्रा में प्रयोग हुआ है। उनकी मृत्यु 24 अप्रैल 1974 मद्रास चेन्नई में हुई थी। Famous Poets in Hindi की लिस्ट में उनका नाम दूसरे पायदान पर मौजूद हैं।

Famous Poets in Hindi की इस लिस्ट में सुमित्रानंदन पंत जिनका जन्म 20 मई 1900 में कौसानी  गांव उत्तराखंड में हुआ था। इनका दूसरा नाम गुसाईं दत्त है। उन्हें पद्म भूषण, ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार ,साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया है। 1950 ईं में इन्हें ऑल इंडिया रेडियो के परामर्शदाता पद पर नियुक्त किया गया था और 1957 ईं तक ये प्रत्यंतर रूप से रेडियो के साथ संपर्क में रहे। सरलता, मधुरता, चित्रात्मकता, कोमलता, और संगीतात्मकता उनकी शैली की मुख्य विशेषताएं हैं। उन्होंने वर्ष 1916-1977 तक साहित्य सेवा की, इनकी मृत्यु 20 दिसंबर 1977 इलाहाबाद उत्तर प्रदेश में हुई थी।

सूर्यकांत त्रिपाठी का जन्म 1899ई  महिषादल राज्य बंगाल में हुआ था। इनके पिता का नाम राम सहाय त्रिपाठी था। उनकी पत्नी का नाम मनोरमा देवी और पुत्री का नाम सरोज था। बचपन में इनका नाम सूर्यकुमार था। इनकी काव्य रचना  सन 1915 से ही प्रारंभ हो गई थी, परंतु उनका प्रथम कविता-संग्रह ‘परिमल’ नाम से सन 1929 में ही प्रकाशित हुआ था।

कविता के अतिरिक्त कहानियां, उपन्यास, निबंध और आलोचना लिखकर भी निराला जी ने हिंदी साहित्य के  के विकास में अपना बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया था। इनकी मृत्यु 1961 ई में हुई। सूर्यकांत त्रिपाठी की प्रमुख रचनाएं इस प्रकार हैं:

अब्दुल रहीम खानखाना का जन्मव र्ष17 दिसंबर 1556 लाहौर में हुआ था। इनके पिता का नाम बैरम खां और माता का नाम जमाल खान था और माता का नाम सईदा बेगम था। उनकी पत्नी का नाम महाबानू बेगम था। वह इस्लाम धर्म के थे। वर्ष 1576 में उनको गुजरात का सूबेदार नियुक्त किया गया था। 28 वर्ष की उम्र में अकबर ने खानखाना की उपाधि से नवाज़ा था। उन्होंने बाबर की आत्मकथा का तुर्की से फारसी में अनुवाद किया था। नौ रत्नों में वह अकेले ऐसे रत्न थे जिनका कलम और तलवार दोनों विधाओं पर समान अधिकार था। उनकी मृत्यु 1 अक्टूबर 1627 ई में हुई।

रहीम के दोहे

दोनों रहिमन एक से ,जो लो बोलत नाही । जान परत हैं काक पिक, रितु बसंत के माही।। रहिमन चुप हो बैठिए , देखी दिनन के फेर। जब नीके दिन आई है ,बतन न लगिहै देर।। तरुवर फल नहिं खात है ,सरवर पियहि न पान । कहि रहीम पर काज हित ,संपति संचहि सुजान।। बिगड़ी बात बने नहीं ,लाख करो किन कोय । रहिमन फाटे दूध को ,मथे न माखन होय।।

Famous Poets in Hindi की लिस्ट तब तक अधूरी है जब तक उसमें महान कवि तुलसीदास नाम नहीं आ जाता है। उनका जन्म सन 1532 राजापुर गांव उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था ।उनके पिता का नाम आत्माराम दुबे और माता का नाम हुलसी था ,उनकी पत्नी का नाम रत्नावली था। उनके गुरु का नाम आचार्य रामानंद था। वह एक संस्कृत विद्वान थे, लेकिन वह अवधी (हिंदी की एक बोली) में उनके कार्यों के लिए सबसे ज्यादा जाने जाते हैं। वह विशेष रूप से अपने “तुलसी-कृता रामायण” के लिए जाने जाते हैं, इसे “रामचरितमानसा” भी कहा जाता है साथ ही “हनुमान चालीसा” के लिए भी जाने जाते हैं। कुल मिलाकर, उन्होंने अपने जीवन काल में 22 प्रमुख साहित्यिक कार्यों का निर्माण किया।

तुलसीदास के दोहे

राम नाम मनिदीप धरु जीह देहरी द्वार। तुलसी भीतर बाहेरहु जौ चाहासि उजियार।। तुलसी नर का क्या बड़ा ,समय बड़ा बलवान । भीला लूटी गोपियां, वही अर्जुन वही बाण।। काम क्रोध मद लोभ की, जो लो मन में खान । तौ लौं पण्डित मूरखौं, तुलसी एक समान।। तुलसी इस संसार में ,भांति भांति के लोग । सबसे हस मिल बोलिए ,नदी नाव संजोग।।

सूरदास का जन्म 1478 ईस्वी रुनकता में हुआ था। इनके पिता का नाम राम दास सारस्वत और गुरु का नाम वल्लभाचार्य था। सूरदास जन्म से ही अंधे थे। सूरदास की मृत्यु 1580 ईसवी में हुई। उनकी ब्रजभाषा थी, वह कार्य क्षेत्र के कवि थे। शिक्षा पूर्ण करने के बाद वह कृष्ण भक्ति में लीन हो गए। सूरसारावली में सूरदास के कुल 1107  छंद हैं, इसकी रचना उन्होंने 67 वर्ष की उम्र में की थी। उनके द्वारा रचित कुल पांच ग्रन्थ उपलब्ध हुए हैं, : सूर सागर, सूर सारावली, साहित्य लहरी, नल दमयन्ती और ब्याहलो। सूरदास मथुरा-आगरा-राजपथ पर स्थित गऊघाट पर अपने शिष्यों-भक्तों के साथ रहकर कृष्ण भक्ति के पद गाया करते थे। और इसी कारण भारत में उनको Famous Poets in Hindi की लिस्ट में शामिल किया गया है।

सूरदास के काव्य रचना

Famous Poets in Hindi की लिस्ट में महान कवि कालिदास, जिनका जन्म पहली से तीसरी शताब्दी इस पूर्व के बीच उत्तर प्रदेश में माना जाता है। उनकी पत्नी का नाम राजकुमारी विधोतमा  था। इनका पूरा नाम महाकवि कालिदास था। माना जाता है कि कालीदास मां काली के परम उपासक  थे, कालिदास जी के नाम का अर्थ है ‘काली की सेवा करने वाला’।कालिदास अपनी कृतियों के माध्यम से हर किसी को अपनी तरफ आर्कषित कर लेते थे, एक बार जिसको उनकी रचनाओं की आदत लग जाती बस वो उनकी लिखी गई आकृतियों में ही लीन हो जाता था।

तस्‍या: किंचित्‍करधृतमिव प्राप्‍तवानीरशाखं नीत्‍वा नीलं सलिलवसनं मुक्‍तरोघोनितम्‍बम्। प्रस्‍थानं ते कथ‍मपि सखे! लम्‍बमानस्‍यभावि शातास्‍वादो विवृतजघनां को विहातुं समूर्थ:।। हे मेघ, गम्‍भीरा के तट से हटा हुआ नीला जल, जिसे बेंत अपनी झुकी हुई डालों से छूते हैं, ऐसा जान पड़ेगा मानो नितम्‍ब से सरका हुआ वस्‍त्र उसने अपने हाथों से पकड़ा रक्‍खा है। हे मित्र, उसे सरकाकर उसके ऊपर लम्‍बे-लम्‍बे झुके हुए तुम्‍हारा वहाँ से हटना कठिन ही होगा, क्‍योंकि स्‍वाद जाननेवाला कौन ऐसा है जो उघड़े हुए जघन भाग का त्याग कर सके।त्‍वन्निष्‍यन्‍दोच्‍छ्वसितवसुधागन्‍धसंपर्करम्‍य: स्‍त्रोतोरन्ध्रध्‍वनितसुभगं दन्तिभि: पीयमान:। नीचैर्वास्‍यत्‍युपजिगमिषोर्देवपूर्व गिरिं ते शीतो वायु: परिणमयिता काननोदुम्‍बराणाम्।। मेघ, तुम्‍हारी झड़ी पड़ने से भपारा छोड़ती हुई भूमि की उत्कट गन्‍ध के स्‍पर्श से जो सुरभित है, अपनी सूँड़ों के नथुनों में सुहावनी ध्‍वनि करते हुए हाथी जिसका पान करते हैं, और जंगली गूलर जिसके कारण गदरा गए हैं, ऐसा शीतल वायु देवगिरि जाने के इच्‍छुक तुमको मन्‍द-मन्‍द थपकियाँ देकर प्रेरित करेगा।

रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर का जन्म 7 मई 1861 कलकत्ता में हुआ था। वह एक कवि ,साहित्यकार ,दार्शनिक थे। उनके पिता का नाम देवेंद्र नाथ टैगोर और माता का नाम शारदा देवी था। उनके सबसे बड़े भाई विजेंद्र नाथ एक दार्शनिक और कवि थे। उनके द्वारा रचित “ जन गण मन” भारत का राष्ट्रीय गान है । बांग्लादेश का राष्ट्रीय गान “आमर सोना बांग्ला” भी टैगोर ने ही लिखा था ।रविंद्र नाथ टैगोर ने ही गांधीजी को सर्वप्रथम महात्मा का विशेषण दिया था । वह  एक महान चित्रकार ओर देशभक्त थे ओर 1913 में “गीतांजलि” के लिए इन्हें साहित्य का नोबेल पुरस्कार मिला था ।उनकी मृत्यु 7 अगस्त 1941 कोलकाता में हुई।

रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर की कविताएं

दिन पर दिन चले गए… दिन पर दिन चले गए पथ के किनारे, गीतों पर गीत अरे रहता पसारे बीतती नहीं बेला सुर मैं उठाता ।। जोड़-जोड़ सपनों से उनको मैं गाता दिन पर दिन जाते मैं बैठा एकाकी जोह रहा बाट अभी मिलना तो बाकी, चाहो क्या रुकूँ नहीं रहूँ सदा गाता करता जो प्रीत अरे व्यथा वही पाता।।

गर्मी की रातों में… गर्मी की रातों में जैसे रहता है पूर्णिमा का चांद तुम मेरे हृदय की शांति में निवास करोगी आश्चर्य में डूबे मुझ पर तुम्हारी उदास आंखें निगाह रखेंगी तुम्हारे घूंघट की छाया मेरे हृदय पर टिकी रहेगी गर्मी की रातों में पूरे चांद की तरह खिलती तुम्हारी सांसें, उन्हें सुगंधित बनातीं मरे स्वप्नों का पीछा करेंगी।

अरे भीरु, कुछ तेरे ऊपर, नहीं भुवन का भार अरे भीरु, कुछ तेरे ऊपर, नहीं भुवन का भार इस नैया का और खिवैया, वही करेगा पार । आया है तूफ़ान अगर तो भला तुझे क्या आर चिन्ता का क्या काम चैन से देख तरंग-विहार । गहन रात आई, आने दे, होने दे अंधियार–इस नैया का और खिवैया वही करेगा पार । पश्चिम में तू देख रहा है मेघावृत आकाश अरे पूर्व में देख न उज्ज्वल ताराओं का हास । साथी ये रे, हैं सब “तेरे”, इसी लिए, अनजान समझ रहा क्या पायेंगे ये तेरे ही बल त्राण । वह प्रचंड अंधड़ आएगा, काँपेगा दिल, मच जायेगा भीषण हाहाकार– इस नैया का और खिवैया यही करेगा पार।

कविवर हरिवंश राय बच्चन का जन्म 27 नवंबर सन 1907 को इलाहाबाद में हुआ था। उन्होंने इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से अंग्रेजी विषय में एम०ए० की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की तथा 1942-1952 ई० तक यहीं पर प्राध्यापक रहे। 1976 ई० में उन्हें ‘पद्म भूषण’ से अलंकृत किया गया।उनका निधन 2003 ई० में मुंबई में हुआ।

जो बीत गई -हरिवंश राय बच्चन 

जो बीत गई सो बात गई! जीवन में एक सितारा था माना, वह बेहद प्यारा था, वह डूब गया तो डूब गया; अंबर के आनन को देखो, कितने इसके तारे टूटे, कितने इसके प्यारे छूटे, जो छूट गए फिर कहाँ मिले; पर बोलो टूटे तारों पर कब अंबर शोक मनाता है! जो बीत गई सो बात गई! जीवन में वह था एक कुसुम, थे उस पर नित्य निछावर तुम, वह सूख गया तो सूख गया; मधुवन की छाती को देखो, सूखीं कितनी इसकी कलियाँ, मुरझाईं कितनी वल्लरियाँ जो मुरझाईं फिर कहाँ खिलीं; पर बोलो सूखे फूलों पर  कब मधुवन शोर मचाता है; जो बीत गई सो बात गई! जीवन में मधु का प्याला था, तुमने तन-मन दे डाला था, वह टूट गया तो टूट गया; मदिरालय का आँगन देखो, कितने प्याले हिल जाते हैं, गिर मिट्टी में मिल जाते हैं, जो गिरते हैं कब उठते हैं; पर बोलो टूटे प्यालों पर कब मदिरालय पछताता है! जो बीत गई सो बात गई! मृदु मिट्टी के हैं बने हुए, मधुघट फूटा ही करते हैं, लघु जीवन लेकर आए हैं, प्याले टूटा ही करते हैं, फिर भी मदिरालय के अंदर  मधु के घट हैं, मधुप्याले हैं, जो मादकता के मारे हैं वे मधु लूटा ही करते हैं; वह कच्चा पीने वाला है  जिसकी ममता घट-प्यालों पर, जो सच्चे मधु से जला हुआ  कब रोता है, चिल्लाता है! जो बीत गई सो बात गई!

भावार्थ-  इसमें कवि हरिवंश राय बच्चन सांत्वना देते रिश्तों की नाजुक अवस्था का वर्णन करते हुए यह बताना चाहते हैं कि संसार में हर रिश्ता एक ना एक दिन समाप्त होना ही है। यह अस्थाई है इस पर किसी का जोर नहीं है।इसमें कवि हरिवंश राय बच्चन अनेक उदाहरण देकर कहते हैं कि जो बीत गई सो बात गई!

राष्ट्रकवि मैथिलीशरण गुप्त ( 3 अगस्त 1886 – 12 दिसम्बर 1964) हिन्दी के प्रसिद्ध कवि थे। हिन्दी साहित्य के इतिहास में वे खड़ी बोली के प्रथम महत्त्वपूर्ण कवि हैं।उन्हें साहित्य जगत में ‘दद्दा’ नाम से सम्बोधित किया जाता था। उनकी कृति भारत-भारती (1912) भारत के स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम के समय में काफी प्रभावशाली सिद्ध हुई थी और और इसी कारण महात्मा गांधी ने उन्हें ‘राष्ट्रकवि’ की पदवी भी दी थी। उनकी जयन्ती 3 अगस्त को हर वर्ष ‘कवि दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जाता है। सन 1954 में भारत सरकार ने उन्हें पद्मभूषण से सम्मानित किया।

विचार लो कि मर्त्य हो न मृत्यु से डरो कभी¸| मरो परन्तु यों मरो कि याद जो करे सभी।  हुई न यों सु–मृत्यु तो वृथा मरे¸ वृथा जिये¸ मरा नहीं वहीं कि जो जिया न आपके लिए।  यही पशु–प्रवृत्ति है कि आप आप ही चरे¸ वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।।  उसी उदार की कथा सरस्वती बखानवी¸ उसी उदार से धरा कृतार्थ भाव मानती।  उसी उदार की सदा सजीव कीर्ति कूजती; तथा उसी उदार को समस्त सृष्टि पूजती।  अखण्ड आत्मभाव जो असीम विश्व में भरे¸ वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिये मरे।।  सहानुभूति चाहिए¸ महाविभूति है वही; वशीकृता सदैव है बनी हुई स्वयं मही।  विरूद्धवाद बुद्ध का दया–प्रवाह में बहा¸ विनीत लोकवर्ग क्या न सामने झुका रहे? अहा! वही उदार है परोपकार जो करे¸ वहीं मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।।  अनंत अंतरिक्ष में अनंत देव हैं खड़े¸ समक्ष ही स्वबाहु जो बढ़ा रहे बड़े–बड़े।  परस्परावलम्ब से उठो तथा बढ़ो सभी¸ अभी अमर्त्य–अंक में अपंक हो चढ़ो सभी।  रहो न यों कि एक से न काम और का सरे¸ वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।। मनुष्य मात्र बन्धु है यही बड़ा विवेक है¸ पुराणपुरूष स्वयंभू पिता प्रसिद्ध एक है।  फलानुसार कर्म के अवश्य बाह्य भेद है¸ परंतु अंतरैक्य में प्रमाणभूत वेद हैं।  अनर्थ है कि बंधु हो न बंधु की व्यथा हरे¸ वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।।  चलो अभीष्ट मार्ग में सहर्ष खेलते हुए¸ विपत्ति विप्र जो पड़ें उन्हें ढकेलते हुए।  घटे न हेल मेल हाँ¸ बढ़े न भिन्नता कभी¸ अतर्क एक पंथ के सतर्क पंथ हों सभी।  तभी समर्थ भाव है कि तारता हुआ तरे वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।।  रहो न भूल के कभी मदांध तुच्छ वित्त में  संत जन आपको करो न गर्व चित्त में  अन्त को है यहाँ त्रिलोकनाथ साथ में  दयालु दीन बन्धु के बडे विशाल हाथ हैं  अतीव भाग्यहीन है अंधेर भाव जो भरे वही मनुष्य है कि जो मनुष्य के लिए मरे।।

भावार्थ- इस कविता के माध्यम से कवि मैथिलीशरण गुप्त मनुष्यता का सही अर्थ समझाना चाहते हैं। वह इस कविता के माध्यम से कहना चाहते हैं कि व्यक्ति का जीना मरना अर्थहीन है स्वार्थी व्यक्ति सिर्फ स्वार्थ के लिए जीता और मरता है। जिस प्रकार से पशु का अस्तित्व सिर्फ जीवन जीने जितना होता है मनुष्य का जीवन में ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए। मनुष्य जाति को अपने जीवन में इस प्रकार के काम करने चाहिए कि मरने के बाद भी वर्तमान मनुष्य जाति या आने वाली जाति उन्हें याद करें। और हमारे मन में कभी भी मृत्यु का भय नहीं सताना चाहिए।

अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी (25 दिसंबर 1924 – 16 अगस्त 2018) भारत के दो बार के प्रधानमंत्री थे। वे पहले 16 मई से 1 जून 1996 तक, तथा फिर 19 मार्च 1998 से 22 मई 2004 तक भारत के प्रधानमंत्री रहे।वे हिंदी कवि, पत्रकार व एक प्रखर वक्ता थे।वे भारतीय जनसंघ के संस्थापकों में एक थे, और 1968 से 1973 तक उसके अध्यक्ष भी रहे। उन्होंने लंबे समय तक राष्‍ट्रधर्म, पाञ्चजन्य और वीर अर्जुन आदि राष्ट्रीय भावना से ओत-प्रोत अनेक पत्र-पत्रिकाओं का संपादन भी किया।

आओ फिर से दिया जलाएँ  भरी दुपहरी में अंधियारा  सूरज परछाई से हारा  अंतरतम का नेह निचोड़ें- बुझी हुई बाती सुलगाएँ।  हम पड़ाव को समझे मंज़िल  लक्ष्य हुआ आंखों से ओझल  वतर्मान के मोहजाल में- आने वाला कल न भुलाएँ।  आओ फिर से दिया जलाएँ।  आहुति बाकी यज्ञ अधूरा  अपनों के विघ्नों ने घेरा  अंतिम जय का वज़्र बनाने- नव दधीचि हड्डियां गलाएँ। आओ फिर से दिया जलाएँ

भावार्थ-  इस कविता के माध्यम से कवि अटल बिहारी वाजपेई कहना चाहते हैं कि युवावस्था में व्यक्ति स्वस्थ और शक्तिशाली और उमंग,उल्लास और जोश से भरा होता है। इस अवस्था में हमें कभी हार नहीं माननी चाहिए।उन्होंने युवाओं की तुलना सूरत से करते हुए कहा है कि युवाओं का जीवन कठिनाइयों के सामने हारना मानो सूर्य का परचाई से हारना है। इसलिए आशा के बुझे हुए दीपक की बाती को सुलझाना होगा अर्थात उम्मीद का नया दिया फिर से जलाना होगा।

21वीं सदी के लोकप्रिय कवि

21वीं सदी में भी लोग कविताओं को पढ़ना तथा सुनना नहीं भूले हैं। आज भी लोग कविताओं को बड़े ही चाव से सुनते हैं। 21वीं सदी में कुछ ऐसे प्रसिद्ध और महान कवि आज भी है जिन्होंने हिंदी साहित्य में अपनी छाप छोड़ी है। Famous Indian Hindi poets of 21st century की सूची उनकी कविताओं के साथ नीचे दी गई है-

कुमार विश्वास का जन्म 10 फरवरी 1960 में गाजियाबाद उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था। इनका पूरा नाम विश्वास कुमार शर्मा है। यह युवाओं के दिल पर राज करने वाले कवि हैं। जिनकी कविताओं की गूंज युवाओं को जोश और उत्साह से भर देती है। इतना ही नहीं कुमार विश्वास अपनी कविताओं को गायकी के सुर में भी प्रदर्शित करते हैं। यह आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता भी रह चुके हैं। हिंदी साहित्य में इन्हें स्वर्ण पदक भी प्राप्त हुआ है। यह कई बार टीवी शो तथा न्यूज़ चैनल पर भी अपनी कविताओं को प्रदर्शित करते हुए नजर आए।

इनकी प्रमुख कविता है-

कोई दीवाना कहता है, कोई पागल समझता है  मगर धरती की बेचैनी को बस बादल समझता है !! मैं तुझसे दूर कैसा हूँ, तू मुझसे दूर कैसी है  ये तेरा दिल समझता है या मेरा दिल समझता है !!

मोहब्बत एक अहसासों की पावन सी कहानी है ! कभी कबिरा दीवाना था कभी मीरा दीवानी है !! यहाँ सब लोग कहते हैं, मेरी आंखों में आँसू हैं ! जो तू समझे तो मोती है, जो ना समझे तो पानी है !! 

समंदर पीर का अन्दर है, लेकिन रो नहीं सकता ! यह आँसू प्यार का मोती है, इसको खो नहीं सकता !! मेरी चाहत को दुल्हन तू बना लेना, मगर सुन ले ! जो मेरा हो नहीं पाया, वो तेरा हो नहीं सकता !! 

भ्रमर कोई कुमुदुनी पर मचल बैठा तो हंगामा! हमारे दिल में कोई ख्वाब पल बैठा तो हंगामा!! अभी तक डूब कर सुनते थे सब किस्सा मोहब्बत का! मैं किस्से को हकीक़त में बदल बैठा तो हंगामा!!  – कुमार विश्वास 

कुंवर नारायण 21वीं सदी के प्रमुख कवियों में से एक हैं। कुंवर नारायण का जन्म फैजाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश में 1927 में हुआ था। सन् 2017 में उनका निधन हो गया। शुरुआत में उन्होंने फ्रांसीसी कवियों की कविताओं का अनुवाद किया।1995 में साहित्य में अपना संपूर्ण योगदान देने के लिए साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था ।

इनकी प्रमुख कविताओं की सूची इस प्रकार है-

अशोक वाजपेयी समकालीन हिंदी साहित्य के एक प्रमुख कवि हैं। अशोक वाजपेयी जन्म 16 जनवरी 1941 को दुर्ग में हुआ। 1994 में इनको भारत सरकार द्वारा साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ।

अशोक वाजपेयी के अभी तक कई काव्य संग्रह प्रकाशित हुए जो निम्न है-

• एक पतंग अनंत में
• अगर इतने से
• कहीं नहीं वहीं
• बहुरि अकेला
• थोड़ी-सी जगह
• घास में दुबका आकाश

• इस नक्षत्रहीन समय में

अशोक वाजपेयी द्वारा लिखित कविता ‘थोड़ा-सा” इस प्रकार है-

अगर बच सका तो वही बचेगा हम सबमें थोड़ा-सा आदमी– जो रौब के सामने नहीं गिड़गिड़ाता, अपने बच्चे के नंबर बढ़वाने नहीं जाता मास्टर के घर, जो रास्ते पर पड़े घायल को सब काम छोड़कर सबसे पहले अस्पताल पहुंचाने का जतन करता है, जो अपने सामने हुई वारदात की गवाही देने से नहीं हिचकिचाता– वही थोड़ा-सा आदमी– जो धोखा खाता है पर प्रेम करने से नहीं चूकता, जो अपनी बेटी के अच्छे फ्राक के लिए दूसरे बच्चों को थिगड़े पहनने पर मजबूर नहीं करता, जो दूध में पानी मिलाने से हिचकता है, जो अपनी चुपड़ी खाते हुए दूसरे की सूखी के बारे में सोचता है, वही थोड़ा-सा आदमी– जो बूढ़ों के पास बैठने से नहीं ऊबता जो अपने घर को चीजों का गोदाम होने से बचाता है, जो दुख को अर्जी में बदलने की मजबूरी पर दुखी होता है और दुनिया को नरक बना देने के लिए दूसरों को ही नहीं कोसता वही थोड़ा-सा आदमी– जिसे ख़बर है कि वृक्ष अपनी पत्तियों से गाता है अहरह एक हरा गान, आकाश लिखता है नक्षत्रों की झिलमिल में एक दीप्त वाक्य, पक्षी आंगन में बिखेर जाते हैं एक अज्ञात व्याकरण वही थोड़ा-सा आदमी– अगर बच सका तो वही बचेगा।

गीत चतुर्वेदी का जन्म 27 नवम्बर 1977 में मुंबई में हुआ। इनकी कुछ प्रमुख कृतियाँ आलाप में गिरह, न्यूनतम मैं है। 21वीं सदी के इस महान कवि को हिंदी में इंडियन एक्सप्रेस के ‘टेन बेस्ट राइटर्स’ की सूची में रखा गया है। गीत चतुर्वेदी को उनकी कविता मदर इंडिया के लिए 2007 में भारत भूषण अग्रवाल पुरस्कार मिला । 

उन लोगों के बारे में जिन्हें मैं नहीं जानता (कविता)

मैं जागता हूँ देर तक कई बार सुबह तक कमरे में करता हूं चहलक़दमी  फ़र्श पर होती है धप्-धप् की ध्वनि जो नीचे के फ्लैट में गूँजती है कोई सुनता है और उसकी लय पर सोता है मेरी जाग से किसी को मिलती है सुकून की नींद मैं नहीं जानता उसके भय, विश्वास और अंधकार को उसकी तड़प और कोशिशों को उसकी खाँसी से मेरे भीतर काँपता है कोई ढाँचा उसकी करवट से डोलता है मेरा जड़त्व कुछ चीज़ों को रोका नहीं जा सकता जैसे कुछ शब्दों, पंक्तियों, विचारों और रंगों को किसी हँसी किसी रुलाहट प्यार और ग़ुस्से के पृथक क्षणों को उन लोगों को भी जिनके बारे में हम ख़ास नहीं जानते उन्हें जानने की कोशिश में  जाने हुए लोगों के और क़रीब आ जाते हैं आसपास उनके जैसा खोजते हैं कुछ और एक विनम्र भ्रांति सींचते हैं उन्हें जान चुकने की

सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान का जन्म 16 अगस्त 1904 को हुआ। हिंदी साहित्य में यह सर्वश्रेष्ठ कवयित्री और लेखिका में से एक थी। उनकी कविता झांसी की रानी ने सबके दिलों पर छाप छोड़ दी और उसी से वह बहुत ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध हो गई। स्वाधीनता संग्राम में कई बार इन्हें जेल जाना पड़ा यह पीड़ा उन्होंने अपनी कविताओं में पेश की। 24 अप्रैल 2007 में राष्ट्रप्रेम की भावना को सम्मानित करने के लिए नए नियुक्त एक तटरक्षक जहाज़ को सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान का नाम दिया है।

इनकी प्रसिद्ध कविता झांसी की रानी-

सिंहासन हिल उठे राजवंशों ने भृकुटी तानी थी, बूढ़े भारत में भी आई फिर से नयी जवानी थी,  गुमी हुई आज़ादी की कीमत सबने पहचानी थी,  दूर फिरंगी को करने की सबने मन में ठानी थी।  चमक उठी सन सत्तावन में, वह तलवार पुरानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥  कानपूर के नाना की, मुँहबोली बहन छबीली थी,  लक्ष्मीबाई नाम, पिता की वह संतान अकेली थी,  नाना के सँग पढ़ती थी वह, नाना के सँग खेली थी,  बरछी, ढाल, कृपाण, कटारी उसकी यही सहेली थी। वीर शिवाजी की गाथायें उसको याद ज़बानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥ लक्ष्मी थी या दुर्गा थी वह स्वयं वीरता की अवतार,  देख मराठे पुलकित होते उसकी तलवारों के वार,  नकली युद्ध-व्यूह की रचना और खेलना खूब शिकार,  सैन्य घेरना, दुर्ग तोड़ना ये थे उसके प्रिय खिलवाड़।  महाराष्ट्र-कुल-देवी उसकी भी आराध्य भवानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥  हुई वीरता की वैभव के साथ सगाई झाँसी में, ब्याह हुआ रानी बन आई लक्ष्मीबाई झाँसी में,  राजमहल में बजी बधाई खुशियाँ छाई झाँसी में,  सुघट बुंदेलों की विरुदावलि-सी वह आयी थी झांसी में। चित्रा ने अर्जुन को पाया, शिव को मिली भवानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥ उदित हुआ सौभाग्य, मुदित महलों में उजियारी छाई,  किंतु कालगति चुपके-चुपके काली घटा घेर लाई,  तीर चलाने वाले कर में उसे चूड़ियाँ कब भाई,  रानी विधवा हुई, हाय! विधि को भी नहीं दया आई। निसंतान मरे राजाजी रानी शोक-समानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥ बुझा दीप झाँसी का तब डलहौज़ी मन में हरषाया,  राज्य हड़प करने का उसने यह अच्छा अवसर पाया,  फ़ौरन फौजें भेज दुर्ग पर अपना झंडा फहराया,  लावारिस का वारिस बनकर ब्रिटिश राज्य झाँसी आया। . . . . . जाओ रानी याद रखेंगे ये कृतज्ञ भारतवासी,  यह तेरा बलिदान जगावेगा स्वतंत्रता अविनासी,  होवे चुप इतिहास, लगे सच्चाई को चाहे फाँसी,  हो मदमाती विजय, मिटा दे गोलों से चाहे झाँसी।  तेरा स्मारक तू ही होगी, तू खुद अमिट निशानी थी,  बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,  खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी॥

अमृता प्रीतम का जन्म 1919 में गुजरांवाला पंजाब में हुआ। वह पंजाबी उपन्यासकार होने के साथ-साथ हिंदी साहित्य में भी प्रसिद्ध कवियों में से एक है।1936 में, केवल 16 वर्ष की आयु में, उनका पहला कविता संग्रह अमृत लेहरन या अमर लहरों के नाम से प्रकाशित हुआ था।1957 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार, 1958 में पंजाब सरकार के भाषा विभाग द्वारा पुरस्कृत, 1988 में बल्गारिया वैरोव पुरस्कार और 1981 में भारत के सर्वोच्च साहित्यिक पुरस्कार ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित।

इनकी प्रसिद्ध कविता दावत –

रात-कुड़ी ने दावत द सितारों के चावल फटक कर यह देग किसने चढ़ा दी चाँद की सुराही कौन लाया चाँदनी की शराब पीकर आकाश की आँखें गहरा गयीं धरती का दिल धड़क रहा है सुना है आज टहनियों के घर फूल मेहमान हुए हैं आगे क्या लिखा है आज इन तक़दीरों से कौन पूछने जायेगा… उम्र के काग़ज़ पर — तेरे इश्क़ ने अँगूठा लगाया, हिसाब कौन चुकायेगा ! क़िस्मत ने एक नग़मा लिखा है कहते हैं कोई आज रात वही नग़मा गायेगा कल्प-वृक्ष की छाँव में बैठकर कामधेनु के छलके दूध से किसने आज तक दोहनी भरी ! हवा की आहें कौन सुने, चलूँ, आज मुझे तक़दीर बुलाने आई है…

कबीर दास की मुख्य रचनाएँ ‘साखी’, ‘सबद’ और ‘रमैनी’ हैं।

कबीर दास ने मुख्य रूप से ‘सधुक्कड़ी’ भाषा में रचना की थी। 

सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान की प्रमुख रचनाएं “झांसी की रानी”, “कस्तूरी मृग” और “मैत्री भाव” हैं।

रामधारी सिंह दिनकर ने अपने काव्य में देशभक्ति, समाज, प्रेम, और मानवीय मूल्यों पर ज्यादा बल दिया है।
