Kitchen Heaven Project Case Study This paper will provide an explanation of the justification and the relationship between the success measures and the verification methods that are listed on the Logical Framework Template for the Goal, Purpose, and the Outcomes section that is listed in the Objectives Column. Goal The goal of this project is to open a Kitchen Heaven location in Colorado Springs, CO. This will be the 50th location that Kitchen Heaven has opened. The success of the store opening will be measured by increasing profits by 6% in the next 12 months. The payback of the initial $2 million investment will be recouped in 19 months this will all be verified by the financial reports. Purpose The purpose of this project is to ensure that the opening of the Colorado Springs store happens in the first week of February. The first week of February in Colorado Springs has a Garden and Home Show, Kitchen Heaven will have a booth at the Garden and Home show. The success measures for this will be securing the building located in the first month, and finding a construction contractor that will complete the construction in 120 days. Following this timeline will make sure that the store is open by the first week in February. The contractor will have weekly benchmarks and monthly deadlines that they will need to meet. The facility manager will need to ensure that they have the correct storage options for the store, and for stocking and other supplies.
