Pastoral Manager cover letter
I have 11 years of experience working with students from key stages 3 through 4 who have displayed challenging behaviors such as ADHD, BESD, ODD, and Asperger's. I am familiar with developing personalized strategies for individual students and working closely with SENCOs, leadership, and external agencies. I also maintain strong communication with parents as a first point of contact. In 2009, I earned a BA in Educational Studies which provided a foundation in pedagogy and pastoral care that I have applied in small group work, meetings, and parental support. The range of study I undertook, securely underpinned my knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and pastoral care. This allowed me to transfer many of those learned skills into different situations including; small group work, one to one meetings and parental support.
